If you like to spice up your cooking, then 'Demon Red' chillies, which are classified as very hot, may just be the ticket. They are also relatively easy to grow, forming an abundance of small, upright fruits on very compact plants. They are perfect then for sowing and growing in this metal bucket, which can be popped onto a sunny windowsill. Then, come the summer, you could have a steady supply of chillies close at hand.
Each kit contains one metal bucket with handle, potting compost, one packet of chilli 'Demon Red' seeds, and full sowing and growing instructions.
- Growing instructions: Fill 80% of the planter with compost and moisten. Space 7-8 seeds in the planter, cover with a very thin layer of compost and moisten. Save the surplus seeds and compost so you can re-seed the planter in the future. Move to a warm well-lit area; a windowsill is ideal but full sunshine will dry out the compost rapidly. The compost must be kept moist at all times, never being allowed to dry out. Place the planter outside in a sunny position once the risk of frost has passed.
