Delivery Services
Standard UK Delivery: £5.99 (by Royal Mail or Courier) (4-7 working days)
Standard UK Wine Delivery: £6.50 extra (4-7 working days) to account for the additional weight and packaging materials required to ensure the bottles are undamaged during transit
Heavy/Large Items UK Delivery from: £14.99 (4-7 working days) to account for the additional weight and packaging materials required to ensure the items are undamaged during transit
Guidebook Delivery from: £2.99

Due to ongoing courier reliability issues, we have unfortunately had to turn off this function on our orders for next day UK delivery. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
UK Delivery
Standard Delivery: Applies to UK standard delivery rate only – you can expect delivery by Royal Mail or by courier within 7 working days after placing your order.
Standard UK Wine Delivery: Delivered by courier, expect delivery between 4-7 working days after placing your order.
UK Heavy/Large Items Delivery: Larger items e.g. Garden Furniture, delivery will be £14.99. Delivered by courier, expect delivery between 4-7 working days after placing your order.
Supplier or Drop Ship Deliveries: Where stated on the product page some items within our range will be delivered to you direct from our approved suppliers. You can expect confirmation of delivery direct from the supplier. If your order contains items delivered by English Heritage these will be delivered separately. These items may only be available for UK Mainland delivery and delivery times vary, please refer to product page.
Overseas Delivery
Unfortunately, we’re temporarily pausing our international shipping options.
This means, that we won’t be able to send packages outside of the Uk.
At this time, we do not know exactly what date we will be able to resume international shipping.
We will update this page when we have more information.

Delivery Information
Overseas Heavy/Large Items Delivery: Larger items e.g. Garden furniture, will incur a variable shipping rate depending on country. This will be shown at basket stage. Expect delivery by courier within 21 days of placing your order.
We reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, for example, to a communal postal address or PO Box. If the customer has incorrectly applied the wrong shipping area. If this affects an order you placed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Do we deliver to your address?
We deliver to most postal areas in the UK and overseas. Delivery of certain products to the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man, Overseas and BFPO addresses may not always be possible.
English Heritage Wine & Alcohol:
It may take longer to deliver to remote areas, including the following post codes: AB, BT, DD 8-11, HS, IV, KA 27-28, KW, PA20-23, 28-29, 31, 34, 41 onwards, PH8, 10, 16, 18 onwards, TR21-25, ZE.
We do not deliver wine & alcohol to any address outside of the UK.
Hampers:
We do not deliver hampers t o the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles or any address outside the UK.
Swords:
We do not deliver swords to any address outside of the UK.
Armour:
We do not deliver armour to any address outside of the UK.
Replica weapons:
We do not deliver replica weapons to any address outside of the UK.
What if I’m not in when you deliver?
Deliveries are usually made on Mondays to Fridays between 9am and 5:30pm. If you or the intended recipient is not available, each time an attempt is made, our courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver. Follow the instructions on this card to rearrange delivery or to collect your products.
What if my order or part of my order has not arrived?
If your order does not arrive as per our delivery schedule above please call us on +44 (0)1761 452966 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday or email onlineshop@english-heritage.org.uk, please have your order reference number or order date to hand. Please contact us within 30 days of the date of your order.
Please Note: A signature may be required for high value items and prints.
Our Returns Policy
If you wish to return something you have purchased from the online shop please contact our customer service team on +44 (0)1761 452966, email onlineshop@english-heritage.org.uk or use our online return form here. Goods should be in their original condition and returned within 30 days of purchase. A full refund will be offered when a product is returned as faulty or damaged. If the return reason is 'no longer required' the goods are returned to us at your own cost and only the cost of the goods will be refunded.
We are unable to accept returns for the following items:
- Perishable goods such as food and plants
- Earrings
- Cosmetics
- DVDs/CDs and goods with a protective seal where the seal has been broken
- Face coverings
- Print on demand products
- Bespoke items such as tapestries
- Items delivered direct by our approved suppliers
The customer service team will process your refund in accordance with our terms and should appear in your account within 5-10 working days.
