Celebrating 125 years of Dracula
Written by Bram Stoker, the novel Dracula was published in 1897 and tells the story about a vampire attempting to move to England. In 1890 Stoker arrived in Whitby, it is believed the windswept headlands, the dramatic abbey ruins and swooping bats all helped inspire the novel. 2022 marks the 125th anniversary of the book’s publication.
